Chautari Trails is three guides who spent fifteen years walking for other agencies, and a two-room office above a gear shop in Thamel.

For years we worked from a Facebook page, WhatsApp and a PDF price list. This site replaces the PDF: every trek's itinerary, its real departures and the seats left on them, in one place.

• One licensed guide for every six trekkers, and a porter for every two.
• Rest days at the altitudes that need them, never cut to save a night of lodging.
• Porters carry fifteen kilos, not thirty, and are insured.
• A guide can turn a group around for weather or health without asking the office.

This agency is fictional. The site is a portfolio build: the people, office and bookings are invented, and no payment is ever taken.
